Elliah Heifetz is a first-generation American composer, pop songwriter, and country-folk singer. Theatrical works include TAKE THE LEAD (stage adaptation of the 2006 hit Warner Bros. film, premiering at Paper Mill Playhouse in 2025), THE DEATH OF DESERT ROSE (Little Sparrow Productions, dir. Ashley Rodbro, chor. Katie Spellman, Dramatist Guild Fellows), and DUST CAN'T KILL ME (Best Music, NYC Fringe, NYMF).
Published by The Brain Music, Elliah has collaborated with hit pop songwriters and producers like Freddy Wexler (Kanye West, Selena Gomez), Gian Stone (Saweetie, Maroon 5), Dave Kuncio (Dierks Bentley, Steve Aoki), Neff-U (Dr. Dre, Justin Bieber), and Robbie Williams. His songs have been featured on major label projects and network TV soundtracks, most recently with Ruins, performed by Ashley Park in the Season 4 finale of Emily in Paris (Netflix), which won the 2024 HMMA Award for Best Onscreen Performance.
Additionally, Elliah performs his original Americana songs, which have been streamed over one million times online and heard live from New York to Nashville (TIDAL’s Best Of: Rising Folk/Country).
As a film and TV creator, Elliah works closely with The Freddy Wexler Company across all platforms, from developing kids' TV for Nickelodeon and Disney to executive producing the upcoming MGM/Orion film about Coach Keith Adams and the CSDR Cubs.
Elliah has had the honor of taking part in the Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project, SPACE on Ryder Farm, DGF Fellows, and Rhinebeck Writers Retreat. The son of political refugees from the Soviet Union, Elliah was born and raised in Philadelphia before studying English at Yale. He now lives in Brooklyn with his wife and their cat.
